When people ask me what my favorite sport is, I never have to think twice about my reply. The obvious answer for me is softball. I’ve been playing tee-ball since I was four years old and I have loved it ever since. When I was 8 years old, my team and I won state. I remember the day like it was yesterday. I remember the team we played were our rivals at the time and the trophy we got was bigger than we were.
I’ve had so many great teammates and memories throughout the years. To make everything better, I get the opportunity to play softball in college, which most don’t get the chance to do. I’m just going to keep playing the sport I love for as long as I can.
For starters, my name is Morgan Nicole Lewis. I’ve lived in Oklahoma all my life and I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. I come from a very small town by the name of Elmore City and I love living there. I have had the privilege of having two wonderful parents, a little brother, and a twin sister. Most people would never guess my sister and I were twins though because we look nothing alike.
Some of my favorite things to do are go swimming, skiing, ride four wheelers, and play any kind of sports. That is actually how I made my decision to come to Northwestern. I loved the campus, but once I found I out I was going to get to play softball here, I was even more excited.
I plan on majoring in biology and getting my minor in physical education. I’m hoping to end up in physical therapy school and eventually become a pediatric physical therapist. If that doesn’t work out…well… I don’t really know. I’ve never blogged before, but I’m looking forward to it and I think I could learn to really like it.
